News/Prints: Printmaking and the Newspaper is a group exhibit of prints that highlights the longstanding relationship of printmaking and the printed newspaper. From early woodblocks printed in 16th-century German newsbooks and colonial American newspapers, to work by contemporary artists incorporating or responding to printed mass media in their work, the exhibition reflects the complex nature of this relationship. Emerging and established contemporary artists are included.
