Congrats to Steve on all of his recent writings! Aside from his recent opinion piece in the April issue of
Modern Painters
magazine, considering the issue of authorship and authenticity in art, he also wrote a review
of Folkert de Jong's compelling solo exhibit at James Cohan Gallery, on view through April 25. The last two are conversational exchanges: first, some
shop talk with sixteen accomplished sculptors (including Kiki Smith, Evan Penny, and Rona Pondick); secondly, a
discussion of creating artwork by proxy, with curators Jessica Lin Cox and William Pym.
